Turning a year of Scouting experiences and accomplishments into a clear, cohesive 16-page annual report.
Challenge
A year of Scouting includes thousands of individual experiences, achievements, and moments of community impact. The challenge was to bring the most meaningful stories and accomplishments together in a publication that clearly communicates the organization’s value.
Strategy
Balance meaningful impact data with accessible writing, authentic photography, and thoughtful editorial design. Make the publication useful for supporters, volunteers, and community partners without losing the human stories behind the numbers.
My contribution
I wrote and designed the entire 16-page publication, including its editorial structure, copy, layout, and visual presentation. I also captured approximately 25% of the photography used in the report.
Results
Delivered a complete annual report bringing the council’s programs, achievements, and impact together in a single cohesive publication. Audience response and distribution outcomes are not quantified.
